On July 19 at 1730 LT in pos 43.34N 147.13E (22 nm east off Shikotan island, Kuril Islands), trawler Vladimir Brodyuk suffered engine failure, resulting in propeller entangle in net. July 20 0100 LT trawler Otlichitelniy on the scene with divers, but due to heavy swell they weren’t able to clear propeller. Trawler Promyslovik dispatched to Vladimir Bodyuk to take disabled vessel on tow and move to Shikotan direction to shelter from swell.

By 0700 LT July 19 divers from salvage vessel Kapitan Klyuev cleared propeller entangled in net, trawler Ogni resimed fishing.
