Two men were hurt during a life boat exercise on board the "Eckerö" in the morning of Sep 3, 2010, in the port of Grisslehamn. They were taken to hospital in Norrtälje by ambulance. The police started an investigation. The accident happened during a port state control of the Finnish authorities. The boat was being lowered by the two crew members when a crank failed. The passage to Eckerö was delayed by half an hour, 500 passengers were affected by the delay. Ecerkölinjen expected no further delays regarding the next crossings.
