Big Red Box Back Home

image A bit dented, a bit faded, the BBC’s Big Red Box is back home a little more than a year after it was filled with scotch bound for Shanghai, a year of which nearly a third was spent sitting in  container yard in Yokohama.

While the maritime industry hasn’t done a particularly good pr job in overcoming the impression that its just a bunch of irresponsible polluters and impressing the world with its importance, projects like the BBC box do tell the general public more about what the industry does and its importance to world trade.

We need to see more projects like this. You can find out more on the BBC here.
